Breakfast Meeting - The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) -Wednesday 17th December 2014

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has invited Editors for a forum on Wednesday 17th December, 2014 at the Serena Hotel as from  7.30am- 9am to update on the status of road safety in Kenya and support needed from media houses.

The forum will present an opportunity for the Editors to understand the various interventions that NTSA has put in place to improve road safety and the critical role of the media in supporting NTSA’s work.

In attendance will be:

  • Lee Kinyanjui – Chairman, NTSA
  • Francis Meja – Director General, NTSA
  • Bob Collymore- Founder Trustee, National Road Safety Trust

Kaparo's statement

It's necessary to have a cohesive Kenya, and it's our duty to make it. NCIC is working closely with Ministry of Education on the syllabus to promote national cohesion and integration.

When I leave here, I will meet with the senate and Parliamentary committee on cohesion and equal opportunity and share our audit of 10 counties. This will enable NCIC to have impact and it be a combined force to address the conflict management issues. I will be delighted to have the Kenya Editors Guild in this campaign.
